Attractions: SkyZone
Armed with only wits and a foam ball he waits in anticipation for the perfect time. He is playing dodgeball, and he is the last member on his team. There are two opponents left. He looks around himself for another ball, but it’s too late his enemies are launching a double attack! Little do the people who are reading this know, the floors are trampolines and he begins to bounce two feet together as fast as he can. Just before the barrage of balls gets to him, he launches himself at the wall.
I suppose I should mention the walls are trampolines too. One ball falls short and bounces away as our hero vaults off the wall launching his own weapon. For good measure in mid air he catches the enemies second attack, letting one of our hero’s team mates come back onto the playing field, and putting the assailant out. Now it’s two on one and our hero makes quick work of the enemy with a high jump and a mean spike.
This is not science fiction! This is real life. A room full of trampolines exists, and I’ve been there!
We went to SkyZone in Mississauga Ontario, and it was wild. First thing I noticed when I started to bounce was how outrageously out of shape I am. Within 10 minutes I was completely winded. Second thing I noticed was dodge ball is a lot more intense on trampoline than you would originally expect. Throwing is hard when you are 2 meters in the air wondering where you are going to land.
Our hour went way too fast. There are foam pits, and cool tricks to learn with the inclusion of trampoline walls, but we barely had time. This event was very affordable and very fun. I am definitely going to go again, and I definitely recommend this leisure.
